The 27th Panorama Audience Award at Berlinale have been given out, with this year’s winners named as Sorda byEva Libertad (for best feature film) and The Möllner Letters by Martina Priessner (documentary).
The prizes are awarded by the Berlinale section Panorama together with radioeins and rbb television (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg).

Sorda (translated as Deaf) is written and directed by Eva Libertad, a continuation of her 2023 Goya Award-nominated short film of the same name that starred her sister, Miriam Garlo. This feature length film also stars deaf actress Miriam Garlo along with Alvaro Cervantes, Elena Irureta and Joaquin Notario. It tells the story of Angela, a deaf woman, who is expecting a child with her hearing partner, Hector.
Following its debut in Berlin, Sorda is scheduled for release in Spanish cinemas on April 4 by A Contracorriente Films.
