EXCLUSIVE: General Hospital‘s popular Nurses Ball will feature a special guest when the party kicks off May 20.
Actress-turned-musical artist YDE, né Breanna Nicole Yde, will perform at the ball May 22. Host Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will introduce YDE at the fictitious charity event that’s become a mainstay on the long-running ABC sudser.
Yde is best known to Nickelodeon viewers from her work on The Haunted Hathaways, Santa Hunters, and School of Rock. She earned a Kid’s Choice Award nomination for the latter series that aired for three seasons before ending in 2018. She went on to play Gina in the Netflix films Malibu Rescue and Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave.
In 2020, she released debut singles “Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife” through Warner Records. Her debut EP, Send Help, dropped in 2022.
The Nurses Ball, which will feature red-carpet fashion and musical performances from the citizens of Port Charles, is dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness. A big reveal and a surprise guest is planned for later in the week.
GH’s Cameron Mathison (Drew) and Cynthia Watros (Nina) will serve as the red-carpet hosts.
