How To Watch The SAG Awards 2025: Cable And Streaming Options

The 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are set to take place Sunday, February 23 at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, in a ceremony streaming live on Netflix.

The ceremony, to be hosted by Kristen Bell, is the last major Hollywood guild to reveal its winners ahead of the Oscars on March 2. Five movies nominated for the Best Picture Oscar are also nominated in SAG’s marquee Ensemble Cast category Sunday: A Complete Unknown, Anora, Conclave, Emilia Pérez and Wicked.

Last year, Oppenheimer won SAG’s Ensemble prize on its way to winning seven Oscars including Best Picture.

Where can the SAG Awards be watched?

Netflix, which acquired rights to the event in 2023 and streamed it exclusively for the first time last year, is streaming the SAG Awards live globally Sunday beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. It also is streaming a red carpet pre-show beginning at 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, hosted by Lilly Singh and Sasheer Zamata.

Who are this year’s SAG Awards nominees?

Coming into the night, Wicked leads the film field with five nominations, followed by A Complete Unknown with four and Anora and Emilia Pérez with three each. On the TV side, the shows battling in the Ensemble in a Drama Series are Bridgerton, The Day of the Jackal, The Diplomat, Shōgun and Slow Horses, while the Comedy Series hopefuls are Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building and Shrinking.

Individual races include the lead acting categories. For actors, the nominees are Oscar frontrunner Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Daniel Craig (Queer), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave). The actress side pits Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez), Mikey Madison (Anora) and Demi Moore (The Substance).

In all, six film and nine TV awards will be presented Sunday, as voted on by SAG-AFTRA‘s 122,000 members. In addition, Jane Fonda will receive SAG-AFTRA’s annual SAG Life Achievement Award.

Who are this year’s SAG Awards presenters?

In addition to Bell as host, Julia Louis-Dreyfus will present the SAG Life Achievement Award Fonda during the ceremony. The list of presenters scheduled to appear includes Ariana Grande, Ayo Edebiri, Bowen Yang, Colin Farrell, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, David Duchovny, Drew Starkey, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Fran Drescher, Gillian Anderson, Harrison Ford, Isabella Rossellini, Jack Quaid, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jessica Williams, Jodie Foster, Joey King, John Lithgow, Keke Palmer, Keri Russell, Kerry Washington, Kumail Nanjiani, Lily Gladstone, Lisa Kudrow, Marissa Bode, Mark Eydelshteyn, Max Greenfield, Michelle Yeoh, Mikey Madison, Millie Bobby Brown, Molly Shannon, Monica Barbaro, Pamela Anderson, Quinta Brunson, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez, Sergio Castellitto, Timothée Chalamet, Yura Borisov, Zoe Saldaña and Zooey Deschanel.
