Reports say Real Madrid is aiming to “launch” an offer to sign Ibrahima Conate this summer after getting the green light from players.
The Reds have a fantastic transfer window that Florian Wiltz, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Echicchike and Jeremy Fripon have arrived as four famous signatures so far.
However, there was unwelcome speculation around their own players linked to Konate, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz moving.
Liverpool centre back Conate has reportedly recently declined two new contract offers from the Reds into the final year of his contract.
That led to reports that Real Madrid, like Trent Alexander Arnold, is hoping to lure him to the Bernabeu with a free transfer next summer.
But journalist David Lynch spoke to people he “close to Conate” about “the feeling.” The Liverpool defender has prioritized his stay at Anfield for his travels to Real Madrid.

Lynch said last week on his Sportsmoll YouTube channel: “Real Madrid is clearly interested. I have no doubt about that! But I talk to people close to Connecte.
“I don’t think it’s reaching a point that won’t come back. The player has made sure he wants to go to Real Madrid, and I don’t get that feeling at all.
“That’s not to say that it doesn’t end like that because the chances are 100% on the table, but we’re still a hopeful moment where there’s a breakthrough.”
Lynch added: “Players are not desperate to get out of Liverpool or go to Real Madrid. It’s not that situation yet, but they have to put a contract on the table that is attractive to players and hasn’t happened yet.”

Football insider journalist Pete O’Rourke doubts that a deal will happen this summer as it has to be a “very good offer” to seduce Liverpool to sell.
O’Rourke recently told Soccer Insider: “I don’t think there’s a movement going on this summer. It’s going to have to be a very good offer from Real Madrid to persuade Liverpool to sell conate.
“You’re probably looking at at least £40 million to sell him, and I think Conate will be staying in Liverpool this summer.
“The club will have more consultations with him and try to convince him to sign a new contract.
“So the player is in the box seat here, he will be staying in Liverpool and will be able to talk to clubs he is interested in in January.
“That’s really worrying because Liverpool saw Trent Alexander Arnold leaving the club and don’t want to see Connecte do the same thing.”
However, Spanish website Defensa Central claims that Liverpool is “preparing to offer” 110 million euros (£105 million) to Rodrigo this summer, with Real Madrid saying that “they believe this is a “independent” deal.”
It is understood that La Liga Giants will begin Konate’s offer by the end of the summer with French International, “hoping Real Madrid will be their next destination.”
