According to reports, Real Madrid is willing to accept the “astronomical offer” of juniors from Brazil’s International Vinicius on one condition.
Vinicius is one of the best footballers in the world, but his long-term future at Real Madrid is questionable as his current contract expires in 2027.
The arrival of Kylian Mbappe had a negative impact on the 25-year-old Real Madrid attacker as the Spanish giants struggled to find the right balance.
This added to Real Madrid’s plight during the 2024/25 campaign, enduring a rare trophyless season, resulting in a major team overhaul during the transfer period this summer.
Vinicius could be a victim of this overhaul as the versatile forward hasn’t penned his contract extension yet, linking it to the big money move to the Saudi Arabian professional league.
Over the past few months, reports have shown he is closer to a contract extension, but Spanish outlet Cadena Ser explains why he hasn’t written a new deal yet.

The report alleges that Vinicius is behind in triggering his request and filing a “surprise request” with Real Madrid to provide the same salary as Mbappe.
Currently, Real Madrid has set a clear ultimatum for Vinicius that they “do not plan for these demands” and “justify” the significant wage increases that “will urge players to improve their performance next season.”
Over the next few months there will be “consultations to close the gap,” but the report claims that if Real Madrid doesn’t improve, it will accept a 200 million euro (£174 million) “offer” from the Saudi Arabian professional league.

It is also noted that his exit can fund a “dream” attack on Manchester City for one of Pep Guardiola’s best players.
It will be added to the report:
“There are discussions this year to close the gap. If that doesn’t happen, Real Madrid would suggest selling astronomical value. Saudi Arabia had provided 200 million people to Brazilian players, but that amount could be the gateway to Florentino Perez’s dream.
“For now, the only reality is the deadlock over the renewal of Vinicius Júnior’s contract. It appears that a variable clause has been agreed based on the goals, goals and bonuses that have placed second among the highest-paid players. This will not satisfy Vinicius, who wants to be the first in the league and has stopped all the machines in the office.
