Sarah Yarkin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Nicholas Cirillo (Outer Banks) have signed on to star in The Silence Game, a psychological thriller written and directed by John Rosman (New Life).
Currently filming in New Mexico, the film follows a disillusioned young man who, after following a mysterious woman into a camp of outsiders, falls under the influence of a charismatic leader preaching virtue in “The Silence Game,” an unnerving game with simple but terrifying rules. As the ideology takes a darker turn, he must grapple with its intoxicating philosophy before it spirals into something far more sinister.
Cirillo is currently in Hulu’s Murdaugh Murders and just wrapped production for the upcoming Black Mirror. He appeared last year with Natasha Lyonne in Rian Johnson’s Poker Face for Peacock and Netflix’s Outer Banks.
Yarkin currently stars in Paramount+’s series School Spirits, which just received its Season 3 renewal. Her other TV credits include Apple TV’s Platonic, ABC’s Single Parents, and Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem. On the film side, she starred in the Legendary/Netflix 2022 reboot of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Universal/Blumhouse’s Happy Death Day 2U.
The film is produced by T. Justin Ross (Aporia). Rosman’s feature debut, New Life, was acquired by Brainstorm Media in 2023 and is currently streaming on Hulu.
Cirillo is represented by Jason Cunningham and Lindsey Wirkus at IAG, the Alexander White Agency, and Jake Miller at 42. Yarkin is repped by Brian Sacripanti, Jason Hyman, and Marion Campbell Kammer at Buchwald, Priya Satiani at Entertainment 360, and Chris Abramson.
