EXCLUSIVE: Wavelength, the Emmy and Tony-winning indie production studio known for projects like the upcoming On Swift Horses, has signed with Verve for full-service representation across all areas.
Entering its 10th year, Wavelength is active across documentary and narrative films, series, branded content, and theater. The partnership with Verve is part of a long-term strategy to expand the company’s creative and business footprint across platforms, formats, and audiences.
The announcement marks continued momentum for Wavelength, on the heels of its February acquisition of sports-focused production agency Duplex Deli, as well as the recent launch of its 2025 WAVE Grant, supporting first-time women and gender non-conforming BIPOC filmmakers. It also precedes the April 25 release of the studio’s TIFF romantic drama On Swift Horses, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Jacob Elordi, via Sony Pictures Classics.
“Signing with Verve is a natural next step in Wavelength’s evolution. We’re built the same—intentional, creative, and relentlessly driven,” said Wavelength’s Founder and CEO, Jenifer Westphal, who runs the company alongside President Joe Plummer. “This partnership is more than representation—it’s alignment. We’ve long respected Verve’s bold approach and we’re excited to grow together in this next chapter.”
Said Andy Stabile, Partner & Head Of Non-Fiction at Verve, “It has been a pleasure to watch Jenifer and Joe build Wavelength into a powerful and culturally impactful full-scale production company. Their slate of beautiful and resonant stories is truly a reflection of the sensibility, humanity, and artistry that is Wavelength. We are so honored to be in business together.”
Wavelength’s recent slate includes the Venice prize-winning Andy Kaufman doc Thank You Very Much, docuseries The Tides That Bind on Fox Nation, and Amber Fares’ Sundance award-winning documentary Coexistence, My Ass!. In theater, the studio is behind Tony Award-winning and Grammy-nominated The Outsiders, and Burlesque The Musical, which is set to debut this summer on London’s West End with Christina Aguilera as executive producer. On the branded side, they’ve produced campaigns for such global partners as Marriott Bonvoy and Baileys.
