Gold House has unveiled its annual A100 List, which recognizes the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders across a variety of industries over the last year.
Among the honorees are Wicked director Jon M. Chu with stars Bowen Yang and Michelle Yeoh, with their film becoming the highest-grossing Broadway musical adaptation globally; Squid Game Season 2 stars Lee Byung-hun and Lee Jung-jae with creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, with the show dominating worldwide Netflix viewership; ‘Apt.’ singers Rosé and Bruno Mars, who recorded over 1.5 billion views on their music video; Penguin Random House CEO Nihar Malaviya, as well as Nobel prize-winner for literature Han Kang.
Other honorees also include Anita Dongre, Barbie’s first Indian designer; Torri Huske, who became the most-decorated Asian American Olympian at the Paris Games; MLB record-breaker Shohei Ohtani; businesswoman and sports investor Michele Kang as well as Olympic golfer Lydia Ko.
This year’s A100 List also features special “Gold Legend” honors for lifetime achievements and ten “New Gold” honorees, which seeks to recognize the next generation of Asian Pacific trailblazers.
Gold House will celebrate the honorees through a slate of events from May 9 to 10, including an A100 celebratory reception co-hosted with the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and East West Bank, as well as an A100 Honorees Dinner for past and present A100 honorees and judges, as well as the Gold Gala.
The A100 honorees list was selected by a group of successful Asian-Pacific leaders alongside community judges, headed by Janet Yang, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Beyond entertainment, the A100 list also featured honorees in the technology and policy sectors, including Demis Hassabis (CEO and Co-founder, Google DeepMind), Sridhar Ramaswamy (CEO, Snowflake), Mark Chen (Chief Research Officer, OpenAI), Liang Wenfeng (CEO, Deepseek), and Jay Graber and Rose Wang (CEO and COO, Bluesky).
“The A100 List illuminates the profound cultural imprint of the Asian Pacific community,” said Bing Chen and Jeremy Tran, CEO and COO of Gold House. “With this year’s honorees, we celebrate more than achievement — we honor the courage of those who take first steps when no clear solutions exist, becoming the First Lights that guide us all forward.”
Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee, best-selling author Min Jin Lee and Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara are also honored as Gold Legends for their lifetime of achievement in the Asian-Pacific community this year.
Goodwater Capital co-founder and managing partner Eric Kim, Canva CEO and co-founder Melanie Perkins and actor-comedian Ronny Chieng — who have all been selected for more than three years on the A100 List — have also been inducted into the honors’ Hall of Fame.
As part of Gold House’s desire to honor “future culture makers,” ten rising leaders have also been named as the A100 New Gold honorees this year, including K-pop star aespa, investor and entrepreneur Ankur Jain, football player Nikko Remigio, fashion designer Sohee Park and climate activist Sophia Kinna.
