EXCLUSIVE: Daniel Baldwin (Vampires) will star in Jurassic: Reborn, an action horror from L.A.-based German director Marcel Walz.
Production has just wrapped on the pic, with Baldwin starring opposite Bryan Scamman (The Box), Danielle Titus (When the Night Falls) and Esmeree Sterling (Nobody’s Angel).
No doubt taking a few cues from the money-spinning Jurassic Park movies, the films is being billed as a “bloody action adventure.” Synopsis reads: “When cutting-edge research leads to the creation of living dinosaurs, a team of scientists on a secluded island must risk their lives and confront the now-growing creatures to prevent the animals from escaping and attacking the mainland.”
Atomic Blonde Entertainment has produced the film, which is set for a limited theatrical run starting on June 24, with an on-demand release scheduled for the same day.
Alex Herman is the writer, with David Rimawi the executive producer. David Michael Latt is the producer, with Brendan Petrizzo line producer and Paul Bales co-producer.
Walz, the director, is known for his indie horror films and is known for the likes of Brute 1986, which counts Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz among its cast in his first acting role.
Here are some first-look stills from the shoot.
