CBS just wrapped the 2024-25 season with another win in daytime.
The network’s lineup of The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young & the Restless, Let’s Make a Deal, The Price is Right and Beyond the Gates was the most-watched in daytime. It’s the 39th season that CBS has come out on top, according to Nielsen.
The lineup averages 2.76m viewers, according to STD results. The top three daytime shows are Price is Right (3.95M), Y&R (3.29M) and The Bold and the Beautiful (2.79M).
Let’s Make a Deal averages 2.21M while the new soap Beyond the Gates is up 48% from last year’s time period and averages 1.82M.
CBS also reports that streaming viewership for all of its soaps is up year-over-year.
CBS says its weekly winning streak began on Oct. 3, 1988 when Ronald Reagan was president. Its weekly consecutive streak was only interrupted from July 22-29, 1996, during the Summer Olympics that was held in Atlanta and broadcast on NBC. Since then, the network has maintained the No. 1 spot for 1,500 consecutive weeks.
