EXCLUSIVE: SpectreVision, the genre-focused production company led by Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah, and Lawrence Inglee, on Monday announced the launch of SpectreVision Artists, a management arm headed by Antonio D’Intino and Christina Campagnola.
The intention behind the new division is to extend the company’s ethos of supporting creators who think outside the box. SpectreVision’s client roster will include directors such as Brendan Bellomo, DGA Award winner for the recently Oscar-nominated documentary The Porcelain War; Bryn Chainey, whose feature debut Rabbit Trap, starring Dev Patel, just premiered at Sundance; Sean Price Williams, the veteran DP whose directorial debut The Sweet East premiered at Cannes in 2023; Alex Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, the creatives behind Save Yourselves! and the upcoming Wicker; Rod Blackhurst (Amanda Knox, Blood for Dust); Jodi Wille (The Source Family, Welcome to Space Brothers); Carolina Markowicz (Toll, Charcoal); Keith Thomas (The Vigil, Firestarter); Rachel Wolther (The French Italian); Iris Shim (Umma); Anthony Scott Burns (Come True); Sophie Kargman (Susie Searches); and Sundance Institute-supported filmmakers Casey Modderno and Kaitlin Fontana.
The roster also includes Good Neighbors novelist Sarah Langan and comic book icon Jock (Batman: One Dark Knight), alongside numerous other authors and thought leaders in the sciences and esoteric studies, including Mitch Horowitz (Occult America), Rizwan Virk (The Simulation Hypothesis), Nick Cook (The Hunt for Zero Point), and UAP disclosure advocate and civil rights attorney Danny Sheehan, whose work inspired the Oscar-winning films Spotlight and Silkwood.
News of SpectreVision’s management division builds on recent company developments including the launch of Mutant, an arts and collectibles company and record label led by several former creative directors of Mondo; SpectreVision Radio, the company’s bespoke podcast network; and High Strangeness, a comic book imprint launching this fall with Oni Press.
“As producers, it’s our greatest joy to discover emerging talent in unexpected places, and to surround them with total support to execute their visions,” said the SpectreVision partners. “With SpectreVision Artists, we will continue to cultivate an ecosystem where these voices are not only heard but amplified.”
D’Intino joins SpectreVision from Circle of Confusion, where he worked as a manager following a tenure at Plattform. He began his career in the feature literary department at APA (now IAG).
Campagnola began her career at APA, where she was a lit agent and helped launch the company’s independent sales and finance division. She later joined the management team at Imagine before venturing out on her own.
A company dedicated to creator-driven works that defy convention, SpectreVision is known for haunting the Midnight sections of top festivals with singular works. Their best known projects include A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, the Farsi-language, black-and-white vampire flick launching the career of filmmaker Ana Lily Amirpour, as well as Panos Cosmatos’ surreal horror flick Mandy starring Nicolas Cage, unforgettable Sundance title The Greasy Strangler, the Daniels’ Swiss Army Man, Oscar nominee The Messenger, Emmy nominee The Tale, and the DICE/Golden Joystick-nominated video game, Transference, for Ubisoft.
