EXCLUSIVE: Apex PR has promoted company executives Darrell Borquez, Polis Groutas, Hayley Wierwille and Corey new titles within the company, effective immediately.
Borquez, who works with clients such as Annette Bening, Paul Bettany, Billy Eichner, Akiva Goldsman, Jenni Konner, Lucasfilm, and Vivienne Medrano, has been named Executive Vice President of the firm. He is based in NYC.
Groutas, who handles publicity for clients such as Julianne Moore, Lee Pace, Anya Taylor-Joy, Liv Tyler, Morena Baccarin, Zoe Bleu, and Emma Kenney, has been named Vice President. He is based in the NYC office.
Kurtzman has been elevated to publicist, having started at the company as an assistant and, more recently, as a coordinator. She will be based in the firm’s LA office and works with clients such as Orlando Bloom, Gia Coppola, among others.
Wierwille, who has been a key member of many accounts on the firm’s events and brands team including Netflix, Race to Erase MS, HRC, and Critics Choice Association, has been promoted to Account Manager. She is based in the firm’s LA office.
