EXCLUSIVE: John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones franchise) and up-and-comer Paris Brosnan (The Unholy Trinity) have signed on to star in Overhill Manor, a coming-of-age-comedy marking the feature directorial debut of Lance Clark.
Currently in production in Indiana, the film penned by Erica Leigh Dick follows the unlikely bond that forms between a troubled high school senior and a rebellious elderly war veteran. Set against the backdrop of Huntington, Indiana, it offers a fresh and funny take on how connection transcends generations.
Pic is the third feature from Forester Film, a production company affiliated with Huntington University. Produced by Matt Webb, Clark, and Isaac Norris, it also stars Bethany Ann Lind (Ozark), Eric Mendenhall (The Walking Dead), Cindy Jackson, Sophia Echendu, and Tyler C. Toney.
“We’re thrilled to bring this story to life with such a dynamic cast and crew,” said Clark. “Overhill Manor is a film about what it means to be seen, to be heard, and to take a risk on someone you least expect. We believe audiences will be inspired by this intergenerational tale.”
An Emmy-nominated veteran of franchises The Lord of the Rings, where he played Gimli, and Indiana Jones, where he plays Sallah, Davies most recently appeared in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, also lending his voice to projects like Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. He is repped by Johnson and Laird Management and Jeff Goldberg Management.
Previously, Paris has been seen starring alongside his father Pierce Brosnan and Samuel L. Jackson in Western actioner The Unholy Trinity. He is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment.
