EXCLUSIVE: Innovative Artists Entertainment has signed Ayanna A. Floyd for literary representation.
Floyd most recently was a consulting producer on Starz’s Power Book II: Ghost, prior to that working as a co-executive producer on The Best Man: The Final Chapters, Empire, and Falling Skies. She has also served as a writer for shows ranging from Hit the Floor to The Chi, which she also showran.
Floyd has extensive credits in the world of medical television, including Private Practice, Medical Investigation, and Strong Medicine. She has developed with Universal Television, Freeform, Fox, TNT and NBC, and currently has a project in development with Fox Entertainment.
For Innovative, other recent lit signings include David Marshall Grant and Barry O’Brien. The agency has rounded out its lit department ranks in the past year with the hiring of Ian Greenstein from Gersh, Andy Patman, Martin Spencer and Martin To from A3, and Margaret Mendelson from Entertainment 360. Innovative in March announced a strategic partnership with Coral Tree Partners, which assumed a minority stake in the agency as it continues its path of growth.
Floyd continues to be represented by manager Anne Damato.
