EXCLUSIVE: Production is due to begin imminently on feature drama Higher Love, starring Dennis Haysbert (24), Marilu Henner (LA Story), Joe Pantoliano (Bad Boys) and Telma Hopkins (The Matrix Resurrections).
Heralding from Worldwide Entertainment and Media, Broadvision Pictures, Uprising and in association with M2 Media Post, the film is written and directed by A.W. “Tony” Scott.
The ensemble also includes Lawrence Saint Victor (The Bold & the Beautiful), Laurissa “Lala” Romain (Top Five), and Aasha Davis (Grey’s Anatomy).
The logline reads: “When a devoted husband is faced with his wife’s critical health crisis, he must make an impossible choice between two unacceptable outcomes, and is thrust into a life of caregiving, loneliness, and unexpected friendship that challenges everything he thought he knew about love, family, and faith.”
The film is produced by Pierre Romain, A.W. “Tony” Scott, Julie Solinger and Jean Qing Su.
