According to David Ornstein, Arsenal has been taking part in a “advanced talk” to sell Winger Reiss Nelson to Fulham, and has been discussing the permanent transfer.
Nelson spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage, but his season ended in December due to a hamstring injury.
He scored twice in 12 appearances before being sidelined in late 2024/25, and Fulham is reportedly keen to bring him back after he returns to his parent club.
Arsenal has signed Noni Madueke and is reportedly targeting Crystal Palace’s Ebeki Eze. This means that if Nelson wants regular playing time, he will have to leave the club this summer.

According to Athletic, the cottage is in “high-level consultation” to sign the 25-year-old from a London neighbor.
In fact, Marco Silva is eager to re-sign a “discussion” with the winger between Arsenal and Fulham’s “discussion” centre for any of the loan agreements that include the option to purchase.
If Nelson joins again on loan, the gunners will prefer the obligation to include, adds Ornstein, a transfer expert.
Ornstein says “the agreement is approaching,” but the transfer “is not guaranteed.”
Nelson agreed to a new contract with the Emirates in 2023, tied up until 2027, with club options extended by 12 months.
The former England Under 21 International scored eight goals and nine assists in 90 appearances for the gunner, making his first team debut against Chelsea in August 2017 at Community Shield.
Arsenal is working on a contract to sign Eze from the palace, but after completing the signature of sports CP striker Victor Gyoker, they can focus more on the sale of players.
Gunners screamed for a new No. 9 and finally got one, confirming the £64 million extra reported Saturday evening.
“We are pleased to announce that Swedish international Victor Gökeres has signed for us on a long-term contract,” the club’s statement stated.
“The 27-year-old striker arrived from Sports Lisbon and scored an incredible 97 goals in 102 appearances.”
Sports Director Andrea Berta said: “We are very pleased with the incredible deal we completed to bring Victor Guilyoker to the club. Victor is an exceptional talent and consistently demonstrates that he has the qualities and victory mentality needed for a top-level centre forward.
“We are confident that Viktor will have a huge impact on the pitch and will become an important figure in our dressing room. Welcome, Viktor!”
Manager Mikel Arteta added: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Viktor Gyoker to the club. The consistency he has shown in his performance and availability is outstanding, and the contributions of his goals speak for itself.
“Viktor has so many qualities. He has a quick and powerful presence with incredible scores at the club and international level. He brings a clinical edge of high conversion opportunities to his goals, as the intelligent movements in the box are constantly threatening.
“We are excited about what Viktor brings to our team and look forward to starting work with him.
“We welcome Victor and his family to Arsenal.”
Gyoker is now traveling to Singapore to meet up with his new teammates and is handed the iconic No. 14 shirt.
