MSNBC will hold another day long live event series featuring network personalities and guests, this time to be held on Oct. 11 at Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
MSNBC Live ’25: This Is Who We Are will be its second audience-focused event, with Nicolle Wallace, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Jacob Soboroff joining this year along with Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jen Psaki, Ari Melber, Stephanie Ruhle, Chris Hayes, Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele and Katy Tur.
The event will feature two sessions, one in the morning from 11 a.m. ET to 1 p.m. ET, and an evening session from 5:30 p.m. ET to 7:30 p.m. ET. There also will be a Capstone Lunch featuring Wallace and Brzezinski in a conversation focused on “Know Your Value,” and Soboroff in conversation with Tur. A Capstone Dinner will feature Maddow, Psaki, Ruhle and others. Tickets start at $100 per person.
The event will later air on MSNBC. The network said that more than 1 million tuned in to the event last year, with more than 4,000 attendees.
The network is preparing for its spinoff from Comcast, meaning that NBC News no longer will be a sister network. MSNBC is building up its own news division, and recently hired Marcus Mabry as senior vice president of content strategy. Mabry will helm MSNBC Live, with Luke Russert as creative director and Lauren Peikoff as executive producer of events.
MSNBC will be part of a collection of former Comcast cable networks under a new corporate entity, Versant.
