EXCLUSIVE: Paradigm has signed filmmaker Michael Sucsy for representation.
Sucsy is best known for his award-winning debut feature, HBO’s Grey Gardens, starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore. Examining the lives of Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edith, the aunt and cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the critically acclaimed film earned 17 Emmy nominations, winning six, as well as a Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or TV Movie. Sucsy directed Lange to a Best Actress Emmy and Barrymore to a Best Actress Golden Globe and SAG Award.
Sucsy also directed The Vow, a 2012 romantic drama starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, which grossed nearly $200M worldwide. Additional credits include Every Day, a high-concept romantic fantasy for Orion Pictures, based on the bestselling novel by David Levithan, as well as directing a pair of episodes from the final season of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why.
