EXCLUSIVE: Longtime film and television publicist Sara Tehrani has launched GoodKind Public Relations, a boutique PR and strategy firm focused on story-first, intentional campaigns across the independent and studio landscape.
Based in Los Angeles and operating nationally, GoodKind will offer traditional, digital, and hybrid publicity services for narrative and documentary features, series, and festival positioning — spanning theatrical, streaming, and awards campaigns. Upcoming, the company will be working on an HBO awards campaign, as well as on numerous Amazon MGM releases.
With more than 15 years of experience, Tehrani — who previously held senior roles at DDA and MPRM — has led publicity for studio releases, indie breakouts, and high-profile festival titles at Sundance, TIFF, Cannes, Telluride, SXSW, and Tribeca. Her recent campaigns include A24’s Bring Her Back, Searchlight’s A Complete Unknown and Poor Things, Amazon MGM’s Challengers and My Old Ass, Bleecker Street’s The Wedding Banquet, A24’s I Saw the TV Glow, and HBO’s Money Electric and Last Call: When a Serial Killer Stalked Queer New York. She also led festival and release publicity for Amazon’s Judy Blume Forever and Neon’s Moonage Daydream and, most recently, Take No Prisoners at SXSW.
“I started GoodKind to build campaigns as intentional and creatively sharp as the work they support,” said Tehrani. “Every project deserves a tailored strategy built on collaboration, trust, and a deep respect for the craft of storytelling.”
Set to work alongside Tehrani at GoodKind is longtime collaborator Arianne Rocchi, a veteran strategist who brings nearly two decades of experience across exhibition, theatrical, and streaming campaigns, with a specialty in awards strategy. Her past projects include Man on Wire, Blackfish, I Am Not Your Negro, Let the Right One In, Tangerine, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, RBG, and Saltburn. She is a member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Television Academy.
