Reports say Liverpool is hit for “missing” in “next William Saliba.” He “chosen” the next move.
Liverpool enjoys a fantastic summer transfer window with the most notable additions from Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
The Reds have already landed most of their top summer goals, but they will remain in the market for more additions, allowing them to exceed £400 million in summer costs by signing Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac.
If they landed Isaac, it would be a big statement, but reportedly they have the funds to make this deal come true as the exits of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunes, Federico Chiesa and/or Harvey Elliott balance the book.
However, Liverpool may not stop after Isaac. Recent reports also show that they are in the market for new centre-backs.
This came in reports linking Conate Ibrahima to his move to Real Madrid ahead of the expiration of his current contract in 2026.

Crystal Palace standout Mark Guech has been debated as a major target for Liverpool, but has also been linked to other options, such as Nantes’ starlet Nathan Zeze.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakout season at the League UN last season, closing out for France at the U21 level.
Zeze is called “The Next William Saliba” and claims Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Aston Villa, Everton and Bournemouth, are “The Next William Saliba.”
Nevertheless, Liverpool “missed” as the talented centre-back “closed” in a “shocking move” to Saudi Arabia’s professional league side FC Neom.

Bournemouth reportedly “expressed a verbal offer of £17 million to Zeze,” but he reportedly “chosen to take his talent to the Saudi Arabian professional league.”
Zeze is said to have “sacked a big sum of money moves on himself,” and this is expected to be completed in the next few days.
It will be added to the report:
“It’s Neom who’s made the deal. SunSports is able to make it clear that Zeze will receive medical care this week, with all that remains is the process before he is officially announced.
Luckily for Liverpool, Guehi’s move is still on the table, and Arne Slot will be speaking to England International to “provide guarantees.”
“Guehi is widely expected to leave Crystal Palace this summer given his contract status, but the Eagles will not be bullied in transfer negotiations. Meanwhile, the centre-back is believed to prioritize the starting XI location ahead of next summer’s World Cup and will still be able to stay at the palace for the upcoming season.
“Slot is expected to speak to the palace captain if a deal is agreed and is ready to provide a guarantee about his playing time.”
