Arsenal believes that at a price considered reasonable by the German club director, they are “trying to make a room for the team and secure cash” in pursuit of the Brazilian signature.
The report adds, “Trossard’s departure will not only help us achieve its financial goals, but will also allow for the restructuring of the Arteta attack.”

Watts told Sportsmore:
“We’re looking at the eight positions on the left in particular. It’s not creative and not an option they have there. Declan Rice, an excellent player. Not the most creative player, but more and more goals and more goals.
“So they can’t really change the game and there’s really no unpredictability there. It might need to be sold. It might have to go to do it for it to happen.
Watts added: “I won’t let him go unless we’re absolutely guaranteed that someone else will come in. He was a great signature.
“I don’t want him to go out the door at all. I think he still has the load to offer. He’s versatile, he scores goals, he scores goals.
“Then if he comes in, you’re Eze, Martinelli, Madueke. Even if Torosad goes, there’s the option on the left. I think Arsenal will lose a very good player.
