Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that his son Heung-Min, who will be leaving Tottenham forward, has agreed to a move to the MLS side, but the Spurs are reportedly chasing the Real Madrid star to replace him.
The son of a Korean forward falls as one of Tottenham’s biggest modern legends. He played 454 games, scoring 173 goals and supporting another 101.
He played for 10 years and finally won the trophy last season as the Spurs beat Manchester United to the Europa League.
Proposals followed that his son might be aiming to leave given his ultimate success at Tottenham, and last week he confirmed that he would actually do so.
There have been several weeks of reports linking him to the MLS Side LAFC, and Transfer Insider Romano confirmed that it is the route his son will take.
Indeed, he gave his famous “here we go” stamp to the transfer, saying there was an oral agreement for the transfer.
Spurs reportedly will receive more than 15 million euros (£13 million/$17.3 million) from the move, and his son is waiting for the documents to be signed.
With the loss of a forward, which was obviously effective, Tottenham would want to get an alternative in place of quality, as he was directly involved in 23 goals in all competitions last season.
The gap on the left side of the offense is what the Spurs want to fill with Real Madrid winger Rodrigo.
It has been stated that money is not an issue, and it has already been proposed that Spurs save about £9.5 million in wages, covering Winger’s salary and willing to pay a transfer fee of around £78 million.

The opportunity to play consistently on the left field suggests that Rodrigo will have a good draw to make him want to join Tottenham.
In any case, the report says Daniel Levy is developing a plan to sign Rodrigo, not to become “crazy.”
Tottenham is said to “not believe” this transaction will pay off. Liverpool still casts a shadow over them.
Certainly they are linked to Rodrigo, but as they are currently working on a deal to sign Alexander Isaac from Newcastle, it is not clear whether the pursuit of a real man will be picked up.
Also, it is not clear whether Tottenham will decide to pursue Rodrigo completely as his son’s replacement, but their interest lies there.
