Rennes defender Jeremy Jacket has refused a potential transfer to Arsenal this summer after Premier League clubs contacted them over the move.
Gunner has already made six new signatures this summer, as Kepa Alizabaraga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgado, Noni Madueke, Christian Mosquera and Victor Guiyoker all move to Emirates Stadium.
However, there are rumours that it hasn’t been made there with claims that it can sign Crystal Palace winger Ebebekiez as Arsenal is looking for a new left-hand attacker.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news on Sunday that Arsenal had “contact” about a potential move in Rennes youth jackets.
And now, Romano has revealed that the jackets are lined up this summer by gunners “case (jakubu) Kiwior.”
Romano told his YouTube channel: “Kiwial is on his way out of Arsenal. However, only if a key proposal arrives will Arsenal already reject the proposal from Portugal. Mikel Arteta loves the player.

“He loves the player mentality. But if Kiwiall goes, Arsenal will add a new defender to his team, which is guaranteed.
“One of their beloved players is Rennes’ Jeremy Jacket, who has already made contact with the French club.
“He extended his contract at the end of May, he is an important player for Rennes and they don’t want to spend this summer.
“Arsenal will continue to monitor this boy. They can be monitored in 2026.”

French outlet foot Mercato frames it slightly differently as the website claims that the jacket “refused to move to Arsenal this summer after choosing to make another choice for his future.”
According to the report, “The London Club wanted to recruit new and promising talent to strengthen its defensive line, but Jeremy Jackets preferred to decline.
“And this summer, to avoid a new approach, Rennes wasted no time securing the gem by offering contract extensions, and now they’ve tied them down to the Breton Club until 2029.
Despite all their new signatures, former Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahore thinks Arsenal will descend on a poor start to a new season.
After the fixtures were released for the new season, Agbon Lahore told Talksport:
“You know it’s like the first game of the season, you’ll expect United to be lively, I’ve brought the draw.
“Leeds at home I got an Arsenal victory, Liverpool away away is the forest of home, I sought a victory. Arsenal’s narrow victory. Manchester City and Newcastle Away do not do much at Arsenal.
“That’s a 7-point potential for Arsenal at 18. Clearly we’re just speculating here, but that’s not a great start for them.”
