With a terrifying expression on her face, the “Fireworks” singer clenched the butterfly’s body for stability, but the hanging butterfly continued to move back and forth from the sudden movement. However, when it seemed to regain stability, she raised her hand to show that she was OK and sang gracefully the rest of the song.
Hours later, the 40-year-old hilariously shared a zoom-in photo of his horrifying reaction to his Instagram story, along with the caption “Good Night San Franc.”
And a few days after she and her ex-fiance Orlando Bloom (who she shares her 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove) frightened the news of their split, Katie was visibly emotionally grown on stage as she rounded out Australian legs on her tour.
“Thank you for being there for being there for Australia,” she said at the June 30 show in Adelaide, with her hands on her chest. “It means the world.”
And since the show must always be going on, she gathered herself together and declared, “Now let’s sing ‘Fireworks!”
