EXCLUSIVE: Writer Sean Lewis has signed with TFC Management for representation.
Lewis is currently in a first-look deal at Universal TV with a second look at FBC. Recent sales of his short stories include Middle School Job at Macro/HartBeat; Jetset, to Jason Michael Berman at A/Vantage Pictures; 78 Percent at Sony, with Michael B. Jordan starring and producing; Dads vs the Apocalypse at Agbo; Aurora at 20th Century Studios, and his treatment for National Parks recently sold to Warner Brothers with Toby Emmerich producing, Brad Payton directing and Shailene Woodley starring. Recently he sold the pitch for Caring Is Our Business to Max with UCP producing, Sean and Jessica Goldberg attached to write.
Lewis penned the script for The Jingle, based on the New York Magazine article, which is currently set up at FX. He has also written scripts for 20th and Netflix, and he has numerous projects in the works at Universal and Universal Television, Netflix, 20th Television and FBC.
Lewis wrote the first 24 issues of the bestselling King Spawn for Image Comics. As a playwright his work has been honored with the Kennedy Center’s Rosa Parks Award and the Barrymore Award, and he has been heard on NPR’s This American Life.
Lewis also is represented at WME and Ziffren Brittenham.
