Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher Walk for the first time in two years
Carrie Underwood is literally back to her roots.
The American Idol judge traded her signature Golden Rock on August 4 for a brownish blonde, revealing this was the first time she’d rock her hair color in 30 years.
“Well, I was probably about 12 years old when I last saw my natural hair color,” Carrie wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her newly colored hair.
I thank Nashville-based colorist Catelyn in August for “helping me return to my roots.”
Certainly, Carrie had waited quite a bit to play with her appearance. When she said Refinery 29 in 2012, she said, “I want to do a little more with hair color. I’ve always been blonde! The problem is, I don’t think I’d think I’m dark and serious if I dye my hair brown.” ”
