Russian President Vladimir Putin says he hopes to meet President Donald Trump in the White House’s latest bid to mediate the end of a three-year-old war in Ukraine.
Putin’s foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov said Thursday that a meeting could take place next week, but he said such an event would take time for the organization. No dates have been confirmed.
