Reports say Chelsea “doing hard on a massive fee,” Nicholas Jackson has emerged as Newcastle United’s top transfer target.
Senegal International scored 24 goals in Chelsea’s 65 Premier League appearances, but was given a pecking order after Liam Dellup and Joao Pedro’s summer arrival.
Jackson is now able to transfer as a result of increasing competition, and Newcastle is one of the clubs interested in signing him.
This summer, Newcastle has made two notable additions as they landed Anthony Elanga and Aaron Ramsdale.
They are on the market for more signatures and have reached an agreement between AC Milan and defender Malick Chiau.
Eddie Howe was looking for an alternative to the marquee, as Liverpool is interested in signing Alexander Isaac.
Jackson appeared as a replacement target for Sesco, but Brentford’s Joan Wissa remains a player who is eager to see Newcastle add.
However, there are several reports claiming that Chelsea forwards are going to cost a lot of money, and that the Blues wants around £800,000.
Other reports say the asking price is close to £60 million. What’s certain is that Chelsea wants to sell him. Christopher Nukank, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Axel Disassi and Renato Veiga also came out of Enzo Maresca’s plans.

Man utd, Chelsea “offer” to PSG star “expected”
Football insider journalist Pete O’Rourke said Maresca opened the door to Jackson’s exit, but the club “stays at a huge fee of around £80 million.”
Still, the “big offer” from Newcastle is acceptable, says O’Rourke.
“Enzo Maresca refused to rule out Nicholas Jackson’s move,” he said on the Inside Track Podcast.
“The arrival of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap tells you everything you need to know, and Maresca continues to open the doors for Senegal International to move on.
“He has been linking with Newcastle for the continued struggle that Newcastle had to bring in top-class strikers this summer.
“Chelsea have been actively working to get out of their way in recent weeks, so when they get big offers, Jackson is out of the way.
“But it appears they are hugging for a huge fee of around £80 million.
“Whether it’s too rich for Newcastle or any other club, we have to wait and see.
“I think the closer you get to the edge of the window, the lower the price tag.
“For Newcastle, he probably wasn’t at the top of their list at the start of the window, but the way things went is pretty high on that list now.”
