Jennifer Aniston takes on the tabloids.
It’s been 20 years since a friend alumni announced her separation from then-husband Brad Pitt. Amid believes the actor sparked a romance with Mr. Smith Cortal Angelina Jolie, but Aniston still remembers the “The Triangle of Love” era.
“It was a very juicy reading for people,” the Morning Show actress told Vanity Fair in an interview published on August 11th.
“It’s a shame it had to happen, but it happened,” she added. “And the boy personally took it.”
What was her thinking back then? “Pick yourself up with the bootstrap,” she explained.
The same year that 56-year-old Aniston and 61-year-old Pitt left, he officially moved with Jolie, 50, and the new couple took a photo together in a spread entitled “Domestic Bliss.” (Pitt and Jolie later married in 2014 and filed for divorce two years later, leading to a 10-year legal battle.)
