Manchester United have seen Carlos Bereva’s opening part exchange offer, which was “rejected” by Brighton.
It was revealed on Wednesday that United had “contact” about a possible Baleva move through an intermediary. Reuben Amorim saw the 21-year-old as the “perfect player” sitting at the root of the midfield.
Athletic’s David Ornstein revealed that United has not been quoted for Valeva’s price, but that Brighton believes one day it’s worth as much as Mores Kayseko.

He states: “Brighton’s preference is to keep Carlos Valleva up until at least the summer of 2026. Manchester United are doing research through intermediaries and prices are not cited. Brighton’s hierarchy believes one day Moises is worth as much as Kayseko.
Reports earlier this week claim Manchester City also views Valeva as a backup or long-term successor to Rodri, but the catch-offside also reported Liverpool and Tottenham “are enthusiastic” and “entered” to the Brighton Star.

According to Insider X Account Indykaila, he first broke Red Devils’s story of interest in Baleba. The midfielder not only wanted Brighton, but also “verbally asked” to move him to United.
His agent is also said to have “gived a thumbs up” on the offer of personal terminology at Old Trafford if Segal allowed the midfielder to leave.

And now the standard claim is that United “was denied an opening offer for Valeva, including young midfielder Toby Collier in part exchange.”
And Seagulls snuck that first bid, but they believe they are “planning to leave Baleba with a succession plan.”
It will be added to the report:
“Diego Gomez and Malick Jarkoye are already in place and there’s much to be expected from them. Gomez was impressed late last season with £11 million signed from Intermiami in January, but 19-year-old Jarkoy spent last season on loan that earned a rave review with the Sturmgrass.
“Brighton doesn’t believe that Jack Hinshelwood, Matt Orly, Matt Wiefer and Yasin Ayali have decided to send out Yalkoye on another loan.
“Brighton has introduced a succession plan in Brighton that gives United hope, but if a price tag is set on the south coast, it is rarely met.”
