Tyndal said of her stepmother, “In general, life advice was invaluable. Whenever she might have been a little above our station, she would be the first person to bring us back to Earth.”

Zara was named BBC Sports Rival of the Year in 2006, 35 years after her mother was awarded the same award, and competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she was named BBC Sports Rival of the Year in 2006, and was honored to accept the silver medal at a team event in London.
“Her father has had successful equestrian skills and has won more medals (more than me),” Anne told Vanity Fair.
All of his grandchildren loved horses too, and Anne said, “It’s true that when they started their riding life, I was an extra hand.”
