Manchester United have been doing an “official approach” this summer for Crystal Palace star Mark Guech, who is deeply connected to his journey to Liverpool.
The Red Devils completed the signature of Benjamin Sesco from RB Leipzig to £74 million last week, bringing their total summer spending with Brian Mbemo, Matthews Cuña and Diego Leon to around £200 million.
It has been widely reported that United chiefs are currently focusing on either new goalkeepers or central midfielders. Probably the central midfielder of both, Fabrizio Romano offers a recent update on the potential moves of Gianluigi Donnaruma of Paris Saint-Germain and Carlos Valleva of Brighton.
He claims Donnarumma is “100% leaving” PSG, who was removed from Super Cup Squad, is “100% leaving” among clubs interested in the service, revealing that the Red Devils are planning a “new talk” about Baleva’s move he thinks is “eager” in the transition to Old Trafford this summer.
While no one was expecting a new centre-back move, the Football Transfers claim that the Red Devils “take an official approach to match Rival, Crystal Palace captain Mark Guech, for his signature.”
Liverpool alleged that “consultations with the Reds” with the Reds “around the Reds” for the new centre-back after Jarrell Kuansa’s move to Bayer Levarkusen left three senior options for the position.
And Fichajes, a Spanish website, claimed that Liverpool could “submit a formal offer in the next few days.”
However, Football Transfers claims that United’s “exploratory at this stage” is eager to secure the England international contract to measure the palace’s asking price and Guech’s “willing to participate.”

The report also revealed that Bayern Munich’s Deiot Upamekano (who has finished his contract next summer like Gehch) has been “allocated as an alternative”, but guehi’ will remain their preferred option when things stand.
Crystal Palace President Steve Parish confirmed that Gehi is likely to be sold this summer after the club’s victory over Liverpool in Sunday’s Community Shield Final.
“It’s a shame that players of that caliber leave for free, which is a problem for us,” Parrish told reporters.
“Joachim (Andersen) went (to Fulham last summer) and we couldn’t afford to lose both. Then there was another bid (Guehi’s) in January, but that was a different situation.
“We need to see what happens, but it requires a new contract or some kind of conclusion.”
Palace manager Oliver Grassner has been critical of the club’s summer transfer activities, saying, “It’s difficult. We have 15 or 16 great players and it’s hard to try and get that level of quality. Price – at the end of the day we’re Crystal Palace.
“Every football club’s money is finite at some point. We do what we can and help as much as we can. We all want to be better with football.
