WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump said Monday he was Revitalizing the National Guard It helps reduce crime across Washington. The Republican president said some members of the cabinet have joined the packed briefing room, putting District of Columbia police under federal control and declaring a public safety emergency.
Protesters gathered outside the White House to protest Trump’s move.
