According to reports, Liverpool has finally been given the green light to complete their contract with Crystal Palace centre back Mark Ngwehi.
The Reds are reportedly looking to add centre-backs and new advances in the final week of their summer transfer period.
Liverpool continues to watch Alexander Isaac’s future after the Newcastle United striker informed the club that he is “never representing him” and he is asking for a move to Anfield.
Crystal Palace defender Guehi has emerged as top candidates for Ibrahima Konate and Virgil Van Dijk, who will compete in the centre half this season.
Guehi has been great for the Eagles over the past few seasons, and he is now entering the final year of his contract. That is, many clubs are interested in his services.
Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish hinted on Monday that the Eagles will have to sell Guech this summer unless England International commits to a new deal this summer.

Parrish said: “Of course we have to do that. It’s a shame that it’s a problem for us to leave that caliber player for free.
“Joachim (Andersen) went (to Fulham last summer) and couldn’t afford to lose both.
“Then we had another bid in January (for Guehi) but that was a different situation.
“We need to see what happens, but it requires a new contract or some kind of conclusion.”

There have been rumours that Chelsea could sign Guech after Levi Colwill picked up a serious knee injury recently, but the Daily Telegraph claims that the Bruce will not pursue a deal.
And now Liverpool is given a green light to get a deal for Guech on the line with transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, and Palace has revealed that it wants to “sell” the defensive player this summer.
Jacobs wrote to X: My feelings have always been the addition of a slow window since May.
“Richard Hughes has finalized the 18-22 profile to match the club’s historic targets, including Levi Colwill and Lenny Yolo. The former was not achieved, so Liverpool never bid, and the latter chose Manchester United last summer.
“Palma’s 18-year-old Giovannileoni is a strong target under consideration, as if #LFC instead pivots to Mark Guech, that’s a small exception to other age profiles and a market opportunity that’s too good for palace defenders to turn down.
“The £40 million price needs to drop even further, coupled with Guehi, who is ready to take part in the World Cup year, knowing there will be a few minutes of competition.
“The palace wants to sell Guehi now. He won’t sign a new contract, so the English defender is ready to see his contract if the right opportunity doesn’t show up. He’s not upset to escape.”
However, Liverpool will not sign this summer. Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola reports that if I fail to sign Isaac, he can pivot to the French.
Athletic James Pierce revealed the latest one. “Senior Anfield figures have dismissed reports that Liverpool is targeting PSG attacker Bradley Barcola.
“Liverpool believes that bringing the attacker on the left on his profile will block the path of talented teenager Rionugmoha.
