Man Utd Legend Rio Ferdinand collided with Red Devils this summer after considering a move to sign former Everton Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Reuben Amorim’s side is Matheus Cunha, Brian Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesco creating new tridents for summer signatures, with new attacks ahead of the new season.
But Man Utd is unlikely to stop Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba with goalkeepers’ top two priorities before the end of the window.
There are also rumours that the Red Devils could try to introduce backup options to Sesco, which they signed from RB Leipzig for about £74 million, and Calvert Lewin has emerged as an option.
England International left Everton at the end of the season, leaving on a free transfer, and was able to offer the club a bargain if it could improve its poor injury record.
Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel when he put Calvert Lewin to surface as a potential transfer option for Man UTD this summer:

“Calvert Lewin can’t stay healthy. No. Why take him to this club? This club is built in the academy and there’s Chido Obi sitting there.
“Would you like to sign Calvert Lewin? What basis would you like to sign? No, sorry, I don’t agree on a large scale, I don’t agree on a large scale.
With the start of a new Premier League season over the weekend, Ferdinand was also giving predictions about how a new campaign would occur in May.
Ferdinand, who gave his opinion on Mann UTD and the top four in the Premier League, added:
