Details of Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie Watson ATV accident put her in a coma
Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter is working on her near-death experience for the first time.
Eight years after Maddie Watson was temporarily pinned underwater when the ATV she was driving hit a pond of her family’s Louisiana property, the teen talked about the tragic incident.
Describing herself as “prone to injuries,” Maddie said in a YouTube video on August 12 that she “had an accident,” detailing her childhood illness and injuries.
She continued, “I am in a coma state, I have come to life, and I am very blessed.”
The 17-year-old added that she was always “treated” when she was younger because of various health struggles.
“When I was really young, I was very sick,” she shared. “I have bad asthma.”
But throughout that, Maddie endured. Jamie Lynn, who shares his high school senior with former Casey Aldridge, wrote on Instagram shortly after Maddie’s video, “You can work hard and get everything right, but you can still face adversity no matter what path you go in life.”
