Thomas Frank said he was “disappointed” that Richardson had finished his season-race goals after winning an acrobatic strike against Burnley.
The former Brentford boss’ tenure with the Spurs may have failed to get off to a better start than his 3-0 home victory, and was a match dominated by Richarrison’s performance.
The Brazilian, who scored the final four league goals, won the net twice from a new signature signed to the Mohammed Kudus Assists, but it was the second effort that had Frank Purring.
“The second is an exceptional finish by Richarrison,” Frank said according to football. “I’m a bit disappointed that the season’s goals are so early, but I have to be a candidate.”
After losing his son Hyun Min, Richarrison became one of the players Frank needs to step up, and the new manager was impressed, especially considering the player’s fitness.

“It’s great that he’s scoring,” Frank said. “The first one is definitely easier to score without being easy, but I have a striker who takes these two chances and helps me win the game.
“He deserves a lot of praise. He was very good against PSG. Today he was exceptional with his occupational rating, driving teams, link up play, hold up play, just dominated and two finishes.
“On his behalf and again I’m very pleased with the performance department, so the medical department did the best job building him. I think some people know that he wasn’t involved in the initial friendship because we had to build him.
“It’s ongoing and you need to look at it all season, it’s just the second game of the season and it’s a long way to go, but he’s very positive.
The 51-year-old suggested that he was a “perfect start” from his new team.
“The perfect start or start a dream We all know that we need to follow up on it,” he said. “Today, I hope that just enjoy it and that players, clubs and fans will enjoy it because that is important.
“Overall, I think it was a good performance, not through the roof, it’s a good performance against difficult opponents. In the Premier League, after a very short turn round against PSG, it’s never easy.
“There are no complaints. If there are two, three, four, one day (between the game), I’ll make sure I do everything I can to prepare my team.
“But it reminds us that PSG is playing tomorrow night and we are playing today. I think we played on Saturday instead of Sunday a few years ago.
“But our health and performance departments did the top job to make sure the players were ready. We had eight starters again, so we’re happy.”
