EXCLUSIVE: All Things Comedy, the comedy podcast network and production company founded by Bill Burr and Al Madrigal, has hired Chance Nichols as Director of Network Creative and Strategy.
Reporting to Co-CEOs Billy Rosenberg and Drew Eller, Nichols’ responsibilities will include optimizing show creative for social and digital platforms to help grow the network’s current shows, while developing new series in collaboration with comedians. He will also work closely with ATC’s long-time Director of Network Operations, Rebecca Edmonson, to execute cross-network marketing and promotion programs.
Nichols is an experienced producer, writer, and performer who previously worked for MrBeast, Airrack, and other leading digital content creators. He comes to All Things Comedy from So True with Caleb Hearon, the hit comedy podcast for which he’s served as producer and Hearon’s sidekick, which he’s overseen from its inception and helped grow into one of the top-charting shows in the comedy space. Going forward, he will continue to serve as producer of So True while working with ATC.
In a statement on ATC’s appointment, Co-CEO Rosenberg observed, “Chance’s superpower is understanding the nuances of how digital content is consumed across social media, with impeccable creative instincts given his background in stand-up and as a writer for some of the biggest names on YouTube. On top of that, he and Caleb Hearon have built one of the funniest shows in comedy today. He’s a savant, and we feel lucky to have him.”
Said Eller, “Chance shares our passion for bringing more talent-driven comedy podcasts and creative projects to audiences, and will play a key role helping ATC talent realize the full potential of their voices and platforms in today’s media environment. All Things Comedy is home to podcasts and digital series including Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds, TigerBelly from Bobby Lee and Khalyla Kuhn, Breaking Bread with Tom Papa, and Rick Glassman’s Take Your Shoes Off, among dozens of others. In addition, ATC is known for producing stand-up specials, series, and films — including the recently wrapped Unt. BriTANicK Pizza Movie starring Gaten Matarazzo, Sean Giambrone, and Lulu Wilson for Hulu, which will premiere next year.
