Eberechi Eze is scheduled to snub Tottenham to move to Arsenal on Wednesday after Gunners rekindled interest in the Crystal Palace star.
Mikel Arteta’s side has already made great strides to improve their team this summer. Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres, Nuni Maduke, Christian Norgaard, Cristulian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga have arrived at around £2 million.
They were badly linked to eze early in the window, but seemed to lose interest as the Spurs asked for a playmaker transfer.
Eze reportedly agreed to terms with the Spurs ahead of a 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Sunday, and on Monday evening Fabrizio Romano held a meeting over Eze for the Spurs and the Palace to discuss the final terms.
“Tottenham is working on Ebebeki Eze. A in-person meeting was held on Monday between Daniel Levi and Steve Parish,” Romano told her YouTube channel.
“The £55 million offer and £5 million add-ons are on the table, and Tottenham is about to reach an agreement last week after Crystal Palace informed him of his desire to go to Tottenham.
“He really wants to go after winning the first two titles in Crystal Palace history. I believe this will be the moment when he goes to the Champions League.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Romano added:
“Daniel Levy and Steve Parish are in direct contact to seal the agreement.”

In a big blow to the Spurs, athletics David Ornstein revealed Wednesday that a knee injury to Kai Herberts caused Arsenal to see “their moves” for the playmaker.
And now Fabrizio Romano claims that he has reached an agreement with all parties and forwards his “go here” seal.
He writes to X: oral agreement between all parties. Crystal Palace receives more than £60 million packages, just as Eze prefers #AFC over Spurs. Arsenal won at Tottenham and received high-level consultations for several days, but was never sealed.
Ornstein confirmed that despite Arsenal’s impending move towards the Emirates, Eze had reached a “consensus in principle” with the Palace before adding that he was receiving medical care with the North London Club before facing Fredrikstad in the Conference League playoffs on Thursday.
