The New York Times said it plans to “protect vigorously against the lawsuit.”
“The role of an independent news organization is to follow the facts they lead,” E!! “Our story was reported with great care and responsibility. It was based on reviews of thousands of pages of original documentation, including text messages and emails that were accurately and in-depthly estimates in the article.”
