EXCLUSIVE: Music video director Fernando Lugo is set to direct the upcoming feature film Inhuman, executive-produced by American singer Justin Quiles.
Lugo’s feature directorial debut will star singer Dalex in his film debut alongside Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Ed Begley Jr. (Better Call Saul), Golden Globe nominee Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy), Emmy winner Tammy Blanchard (Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows), and P.J. Marshall (Underground).
The film is a psychological horror-thriller following a hardened psychiatrist who takes custody of a possessed teen after a botched exorcism, only to uncover that the boy’s torment may be something else entirely.
Pic, which is due to begin production next month in Miami, is produced by Dustin Fairbanks and DJ Dodd through their L7 Pictures and Future Proof Films, respectively.
Lugo has directed high-profile music videos and campaigns for the likes of Drake, Bad Bunny, Enrique Iglesias, Rosalia, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Cardi B, Peso Pluma, Feid, Jennifer Lopez, and Romeo Santos, as well as Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
