Melbourne, Australia (AP) — Iran’s Australian ambassador will be banished after the Iranian government revealed he was behind at least two anti-Semitic attacks in Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Tuesday.
Australia’s security intelligence agency concluded that the Iranian government had directed an attack on Lewis Continental Kitchen, a kosher food company held in Sydney last October. Adas Isla El Synagogue Albanese is sad in Melbourne last December.
Shortly before the announcement, the Australian government told Iran’s Australian Ambassador Ahmad Sadegi that he would be banished. The Australian diplomats have also been listed in Iran in a third country, Albanese said.

Australia will legislate to list Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, Albanese said.
“These were amazing and dangerous acts of aggression organized by foreigners in Australian soil,” Albanese said.
“They were attempts to weaken social cohesion and soar discord in our community. That’s absolutely unacceptable,” he added.
