Google is rolling out a new device protection program called Pixel Care+, The Tech Giant announced Wednesday. Pixel Care+ replaces Google Priority Care and FI Device Protection in the US, with current monthly subscribers moving to new programs in the coming months.
In a blog post, Google said that Pixel Care+ offers “a higher level of coverage, service and security for Google hardware owners.”
The new program includes unlimited claims for incidental damages, extended warranty claims, and mechanical damages. It also comes with screen and battery repairs, $0 warrant malfunction charges, replacements for real Google parts, priority support from pixel experts, self-service billing via the Google Store website, and optional additional loss and theft coverage.

Additionally, Pixel Care+ users will get a free replacement upgrade shipping fee, including next-day shipping.
Google’s website has a breakdown of pricing based on a variety of devices. For example, a Pixel 10 Pixel Care+ costs $10 per month and $199 for two years.
Pixel Care+ will be available in the US starting Wednesday, including Pixel 8 and up, Pixel Watch 2 and Up, Pixel Ace LTE, Fitbit Ace LTE, Fitbit Versa 4, Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Charge 6, and Fitbit Inspire 3.
The program can be added within 60 days of purchase. Users can open claims directly from the Google Store and choose the location and time of repairs. Alternatively, you can file a complaint directly to the My Pixel app.
