WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump revoked former Vice President Kamala Harris’ Secret Service protections, according to a senior White House official on Friday.
A former vice president usually receives federal protections for six months after in office, but the former president does so for the rest of his life. But another person familiar with the issue says then-President Joe Biden quietly signed an order that extended Harris protections beyond the traditional six months.
