According to Fabrizio Romano, Man Utd has now agreed to sign “personal terms” from Aston Villa to Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa to sign from Aston Villa.
The Red Devils are about to introduce a new goalkeeper to replace Andre Onana in goal after falling under Altai Bay Indeal in the pecking order at Old Trafford.
After starting most of last season’s Man UTD games, Onana has now realized that she is the goalkeeper for the club’s Cup behind Turkey International, who started all three of Red Devils’ Premier League games.
Onana made two mistakes in one League Cup appearance earlier this week. Mann UTD was knocked out on a penalty by the town of League 2 side Grimsby.
Romano revealed on Sunday morning that he has returned to Man Villa goalkeeper Martinez after denying a loan bid earlier this summer.
Journalist Sacha Tabolieri claimed that the Red Devils were “leaning” towards Argentina International after an overnight interest in Royal Antwerp’s Runmens went “quiet” overnight.
And now, Romano has updated information on Martinez’s advances as approaching Aston Villa after agreeing to personal terms with the former Arsenal goalkeeper.

Romano writes to X: As revealed only this morning, Dibu has returned as a specific option for #Mufc if no Lammens trade is made. It’s well underway now. ”
And now Aston Villa is looking for a goalkeeper with Senne Lanmens on their target list, while Porto’s Diogo Costa is also a potential target for Martinez.
Romano added to the X: “Understanding that Aston Villa has taken the formal approach to Royal Antwerp and Senne Ranmens! He is a major option alongside Diogo Costa in case Dib Martinez leaves the club. Manchester United are talking with Villa for Dib…and #AVFC is now thinking of Ranmens.
Earlier this month, Man Utd’s legendary Gary Neville claimed that Red Devils needed a new goalkeeper to replace Onana forever.
Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast:
“They have to do that. I’m clear about that because I had experience with Man UTD for 20 years, with Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sall and two major periods of seven or eight years.
“In the meantime, we had seven or eight goalkeepers in six, seven, eight years, and we didn’t have one dominant in the air who owns a six-yard box, that’s really unsettling.
“I don’t know where they are on the PSR, but I might have to make some more money magical or lend it out and do something in the next week or two.
“The two mentioned in the last two weeks are Emi Martinez and (Gianluigi) Donnaruma.

“The reason they think they’re going to be good goalkeepers for Man UTD isn’t necessarily because they’re the best goalkeepers in Europe, but they’re big personalities and characters.
“I’ve seen Donnaruma in the European final. I’m going to save the Italian penalty. He looked like a Giants. He played for PSG under pressure. Martinez played in the World Cup final and won in Argentina.
“They play under extreme pressure and they leave with that rog and dominance of the goalkeeper.
“There are a lot of things Man Utd needs this season, and Amorim has reached that point where he thinks he has a team that can do something.
“But they need to sort out the goalkeepers because they acknowledge their goals and lose points, constantly undermining what you are doing.
“As the goalkeeper flapping the ball, 72,000 home fans moan and send trembling to the defender’s thorns, and it also sends trembling to the goalkeeper, creating anxiety around the stadium.
“You have to have personality, stability and personality in that position, and Man UTD has to deal with it in the coming weeks.”
