Liverpool and Crystal Palace have now reached a “consensus” over Mark Guech’s proposed move to Anfield and are currently receiving medical care.
Guehi has been linked to Liverpool through his transfer window this summer.
England International is one of the best defenders in the Premier League in recent seasons and is available for reduced fees as he is the final year of his contract.
According to a recent report, Guehi hopes that only Liverpool and Arne Slot’s side have raised recent interest, with a £35 million offer submitted to Crystal Palace over the weekend.
The palace did not respond to this bid immediately, but it has been reported that they are willing to win Guehi if they landed the appropriate alternative.
Now it appears that Domino has fallen into Liverpool’s favor. Guehi is currently in medical care while several reporters confirm that an agreement has been reached between the two sides.
David Ornstein revealed in X that “Breaking: Marc Guehi proposed a permanent switch from Crystal Palace to Liverpool for medical care in London.
“We have agreed to a 25YO #CPFC centreback transaction on a 35m + 5yr #LFC contract as all parties work to seal #DeadLineDay Move @TheathLeticFC.”

In subsequent reports, Fabrizio Romano gave the deal a “go here” treatment, confirming some important details.
He states in X:
“In addition to the fees exceeding £35 million, we will also sign up for a 10% sell-on clause included in the package.
“Guehi agreed to the personal terms with Liverpool a month ago, but now it’s all done. The other is a move by Richard Hughes.”
The news would have angered Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
Before Liverpool and the palace became the condition for Guech, a report from Deivokip claimed that Glasner “walking” if the centre-back exit was approved.
He insisted: “There is a real fear that Oliver Glasner can walk if he is authorized to leave against his wishes.
“Crystal Palace is rushing to find the right player to soothe Glasner. Mark Guech continues to be the ultimate expert throughout this story.
“Guehi may seek verbal movements as the days go by, but he has resisted doing so up until now. The fees between the clubs are not expected to be an issue, but Crystal Palace may consider Glasner leaving.
“Despite positive talks over the weekend, Mark Guech from Liverpool to Liverpool is on the edge of the knife.
“The Crystal Palace Committee is absolutely open to sales.”
