Anyway, Chelsea never missed many transfer targets, but did it with Barcelona and Spanish midfielder Fermin Lopez.
Bruce has signed 50 first-team players since being handed over to American billionaire Todd Boley in 2022.
It is relentless and focused on recruiting young players with high selling potential.
With so many players participating in the club, it was impossible for all players to receive sufficient game time.
This led to many big names signings departing for Chelsea within a year or two.
Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Maduke, and Lesley Ugochukwu are four examples of players who have been purchased and sold for a significant price under Boehly watches.

The length of the contract, and of course, the pay Chelsea offers to transfer targets, means they can’t get a human.
But Barcelona playmaker Fermin is an interested player to sign this summer, but he couldn’t get through the door.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chelsea contacted Fermin’s representatives to “understand the situation” in order to “understand the situation.”
Eventually, the 22-year-old decided to stay in Catalonia, and he revealed why.
Speaking to the Spanish press, Fermin confirmed that staying in Barcelona has always been his “priority” and that he joined his “dream” club at the age of 12.
“Well, in the end, my priorities have always been to be at Barca. I arrived when I was 12. Being here was my dream. I was able to reach my first team,” he said.
“When you’re interested from other clubs, it’s always a complimentary word, but the truth is, I always had the idea that I could stay at Barca and succeed here.”
Fermin also thanked the support he received from Barca boss Hansifrik and said he had shut down his future talk of moving to Stamford Bridge.
“I was always here and I was fighting to play for Barca, so that was very important,” the Spanish playmaker added.
“My goal is to stay here. You’re football that you never know and there are things you don’t rely on, but my priorities have always been to stay at Barca.”
Ballon D’Or candidate and Barca’s teammate Lamine Yamal also discussed rumors linking Fermin to Chelsea.
The 18-year-old was laughing and joking about it.
“He’s as energetic and happy as always,” he said. “In Barca, if someone leaves, it’s their decision. We’re a young United group with no issues between us and we enjoy the club.
“I don’t think anyone wants to leave. We jokingly asked what was going on in England, and he said he wanted to stay, he said he was happy.”
Barca’s dining room sounds like a riot.
