The Reds had a fantastic transfer window that was lacking from perfect at the last moments of Monday’s deadline.
Alexander Isaac passed the door from Newcastle in a deal worth £130 million on the final day to take part in the famous acquisitions of Florian Wiltz, Hugo Echicchique, Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerquez and Giovanni Leoni.
Guehi’s contract would have been the cherry blossoms on cake, but Liverpool couldn’t sign a contract with Crystal Palace pulling the plug at the last minute.
Liverpool had to wait until the last day of the window for the claim that they would not pay more than £35 million to England International, which was valued at nearly £50 million by the Eagles.
The Palace was unable to put his replacement and Gehi was told he would not join Liverpool during medical care, but the Premier League champions are scheduled to pursue centre-back again in January.

And Football Insider now claims that Liverpool will “can sign “Guehi” at Crystal Palace for a fee of around £25 million in January.”
According to the report, Guehi says that once the transfer window reopens, it will be at least £10 million less than the original asking price for the New Year.
“The Football Insider has made it clear that Liverpool will rekindle their interests in January to halt interest from other clubs.”
The Reds will do so by putting transfer hijacking at risk if they wait until next summer for more clubs to be more likely to be interested in Crystal Palace stars in a free transfer.

Former Manchester United and Tottenham Scout Mick Brown are still well connected in the Premier League – claiming that it is “very likely” that Oliver Glasner will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season after a Gahe situation.
Brown told Football Insider: “Mark Guech’s situation doesn’t help the manager’s thing. “There’s tension behind the scenes. He’s not happy with the points he threatened to leave in certain circumstances.
“The chairman made a decision to directly counter the wishes of the manager, not the type of situation the manager wants.
“He only has a year left on the contract, and I think there’s a very good chance he’ll leave when things run out of business because things are gone.
“Glasner has been very vocal about what he hopes from the club, and he wanted to be supported by the transfer market and make deals early and maintain his best player.
“I am grateful that it is not always possible, and it has been a difficult summer for the palace from the pitch, but it has not helped those relationships.
“They had already sold Eze and admitted they had brought him a quick replacement, but selling Gehi would have been a big blow to their team afterwards.
“So you can see why the manager is irritated. I think it’s difficult for the palace to bring him into a new contract unless something dramatic happens.”
