The new report reveals Arsenal’s next “priority” after the end of the transfer period this summer, with “very positive noise.”
Arsenal was active in the transfer market this summer. They wanted to secure upgrades in various positions after finishing second in the Premier League for their third consecutive season.
Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze and Piero Hincapie were one of the most notable signatures.
It is still unclear whether this will lead Arsenal to the next step in winning the Premier League or Champions League this season, but they are far better at competing in all respects.
Summer windows are currently closed. Arsenal expert Charles Watts claims it is the next “priority.”

The two major players have been signed until 2027 and have attracted interest from several European giants in recent months.
“With the transfer window being closed, Arsenal’s priority is to accelerate contract talks with Bukayosaka and William Saliba,” Watts said in his column that he caught an offside.
“Andrea Berta did a good job of updating after arriving as sports director when Gabriel Magalges, Ethan Nwaneri and Miles Lewis Skelly were writing new long-term deals.
“However, perhaps the two most important renewals have not yet been agreed. Both Saka and Saliba are now in the final two years of their current contract.”

Watts also shows that “the noise around Saka is very positive,” and Arsenal feels “confident.”
“There has been talks going on between both players and Arsenal for a while, and the debate is ongoing and I am sure both will commit futures to the clubs in North London,” Watts added.
“Before the last time I put the pen on paper in 2023, we couldn’t say for certain when these transactions would be agreed, as both Saka and Saliba were in the final year of previous transactions.
“My hope at Arsenal is that neither negotiation will drag on as long as the noise around this time and around Saka is certainly very positive.
“Berta had a lot on the plate since we arrived, but now we have a little time to actually tackle both updates. I’m sure Arsenal will make progress soon.”
