Fox News Channel host Brian Killmead I apologized on Sunday In a discussion in the network last week, he said his remarks were “very merciless” to defend the execution of mentally ill homeless people.
Kilmeade’s first comment came on Wednesday on the “Fox & Friends” episode, which began bringing widespread distribution online over the weekend. Morning Show host Kilmeade was talking to co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Eahult about August 22nd Iryna Zarutska’s stabbing murder On a light rail train in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The incident brought widespread attention to Fox after DeCarlos Brown Jr., a homeless and mentally ill man, was arrested for murder and the release of Stebbing’s security video.
Jones spoke on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday about public funds spent to help homeless people.
“Or an unwilling fatal injection, or something,” Kilmeade said. “I’ll just kill you.”
Iarhard replied, “Why did we have to get to this point?” Kilmead replied, “I’ll say this, we’re not voting for the right people.”
When he appeared on Sunday of the “Fox & Friends” weekend show, Kilmeade “miseriously said he should get a fatal injection. I apologize for the extremely ruthless statement. I know that all mentally impaired homeless people will act like they did in North Carolina, and that many homeless people will challenge our empathy and compassion.”
Fox News Management did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
Advocates for the homeless people said on Sunday that Kilmead’s comments were “all humanity lacking.” Christine Quinn, president and CEO of Win, a New York City shelter and service provider for homeless children, invited Kilmeade to volunteer at one of the organization’s shelters.
Kilmeade’s first statement came hours before the assassination of conservative Utah activist Charlie Kirk. That’s what MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd did. I was fired for saying it was in the air That hateful rhetoric can lead to hateful behavior that afternoon.
